anyone been on the Eurail? little help please...

on the eurail website it says you can buy the "selectpass", your pick of 3, 4, or 5 adjoining countries, and get unlimited travel.

however, when you go to buy that pass, you have to select how many "days" of travel you want in a period of 2 months. i understand what this means, but wtf why cant i just buy a pass that will permit me unlimited travel between the 5 countries i want to visit like the webpage says?

The Eurailpass is the European Rail Pass with the most extensive travel possibilities. The Eurailpass entitles you to practically unlimited travel on Railways and some major shipping lines in the participating 17 Eurailpass countries.

The Eurailpass allows travel on any of the days in a certain period.

The Eurailpass is available for continuous travel in a period of either 15 days, 21 days, 1 month, 2 months or 3 months, thus giving you the utmost flexibility in allowing to travel on any day within the chosen validity period.

you looked at the wrong one. i gave specific directions to the selectpass, not the regular pass.

yeah i saw that, but their description says unlimited on a different page. how annoying 🙁
