Anyone been on a cruise?

I'm sure a lot of you have been on a cruise before, but I haven't. My wife keeps asking me about taking a cruise, maybe even a Disney cruise, but I'm not sure what all of the fuss is about. Just doesn't sound very appealing to me. We have two kids of our own, but i'm not sure I want to be stuck on a boat with hundreds of other people and their screaming kids. Is it as bad as I think it will be?

I was on the Disney cruise when I was younger, plenty of stuff to do, they make stops at islands where you can get off the boat and do w/e. It's not anything like you made it out to be

I've never taken a Disney cruise because they're too expensive, but the kids have loved the Royal Caribbean cruises we've taken. The boats are big enough that you don't really feel crowded at all. If you can find a good deal ($60-70/day), go for it! The food is usually very good, there's plenty to do, and you can put the kids in the kids' programs (which they love) and enjoy some one-on-one time as well.
