Anyone been able to run those GeForce4 demos on a Radeon 8500?

I downloaded all of them and all of them get an error when i run them, anyone else have better luck?

Just wondering, do the Radeon 8500 demos run on non 8500 cards. I have a Radeon 1 and on all demos but treasure chest I get a some none Radeon 8500 error. Mainly, believe that the Radeon demos and mabe the Geforce 4 demos require specific Radeon or Geforece hardware detected to run. If I am wrong plese correct me, and if possible help me run the radeon demos on my system, something like emulate the 8500 even if it runs very slow.

99% of Nvidia demos are written in OpenGL, taking advantage of Nvidia extensions. They will not run on other cards.

Emultating pixel shader in software results in "seconds per frame" speed
Vertex shaders can be done in software with decent speed, however.
