the game is about 20hrs long and i beaten it too. The game has a really creep and awesome storyline (mixture of Japanese horror flim like the ring). I love the gunfights and weapon in that game feel real. They maybe the best weapon feels ever implemented in any FPS I have played so far. Also the game has brutal scene that make you all physicked up. Love the game and if you are FPS fan then you must definitional buy the game.

....i haven't beaten it..prob half way thru...but am i the only one that doesn't like to be scared when playing a game (ok...maybe that just makes me a pussy..but f* it)

That was the only thing that I did like about D3, that it made me shat my pants the first session or two. Looks like F.E.A.R. is my next purchase. Just in time for Halloween again too

I just finished the game on extreme difficulty and it took well under 20 hours, 15 at most.

The ending was a radical departure from most FPSs as there was no boss to fight, and no other bosses at all in the game actually, unless you count the mechs. The epilogue was essentially a Friday the 13th deal.

the storyline was great... and so was the ending. like i said.... fear2 is coming, i'll leave it there

I beat it today. (moderate difficulty, ~20 hours)

Storyline is great. No too deep but has some very powerful events. Speaking of which, it would be nice to start a thread about the storyline so we can put it all together.

The scene right before the end is just AWESOME. You will know it when you see it. Crank up the speakers!

Last 30min of the game is different. The whole boss thing as brought up before.

Some of the effects you see by the time you finish the game are amazing. I am very impressed with the engine.

BTW - I played the game at 1280*1024, let the game auto detect then set textures to max.

Ran on A64, 2gb ram, 6800 GT (Ultra speeds).
