tamu is one of my transfer choices, have to register for classes tomorrow and need a science. I don't see astronomy anywhere in TAMU's catalog, but just want to double check before choosing another one. Can't wait until tomorrow to call/email either

I took Astronomy many years ago when I was at A&M, it was a pretty cool class an an easy A. IIRC, we he a lab once or twice/month where we went out to the oberervatory outside of College Station.

Thats wierd... didnt even know there was an observatory anywhere near CS. I know about our nuclear test facility but the observatory is news to me.

Ironically, the first sentence in the story...

Texas A&M University?s astronomical observatory may be one of the campus? best-kept secrets, but it?s a hidden asset that just became larger.
