My brother in law wants to change career paths, and is interested in this.

Anyone know how what is required, how long it takes to get certified or whatever, what advancem,ent oppurtunites there are, and what the job market is like, what kinda pay should he expect.

I have a friend who is an X-ray tech. She likes her job . It took her two years of school (that was 10 years ago though) and had to take a certification test. As far as for advancement, I think you can get certified in other areas like sonograms, etc. I believe the pay is probably upper thirties or maybe even lower forties.
