Anyone an IEEE Member

I was for a couple years but really didn't see any benefit to the membership, so I quit paying. I use IEEE xplore, but since I am still a student that is free anyway.

I guess you are pretty much donating money to the society if you aren't really active.

I had to pay $30 bucks to join. So, I doubt you could be a member for free.

I'm in ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) the CS equivalent of IEEE, I'm not active but the Communications of the ACM is worth reading to keep up with the academic side of CS.
