Heard great things, but am trying to learn about the area. Where to fly into? How to plan the trip (reserve stuff ahead of time or not)? where to go.. etc..

Anyone?
 
My fiancee just got back from her sisters wedding down there (she married a Costa Rican doctor) and they are going to live down there for 2-3 years until he gets his licence up here as well.

Anyway, his cousins' own a tour company down there. If you need contact info, shoot me a PM and i'll get the info from my fiancee.
