If I wasn't having any issues, I wouldn't buy one. If I was having issues, I would buy one.

Well tony hawk freezes a lot, but that could be the crappy programming they did for that game (never encountered such a flawed console game).

Supposedly the contact points in the back have a small gap that can cause a short. Just make sure the thing is plugged in securely and you won't have any problems.
