Anyone able to check BUYER feedback on Amazon Seller?

Hey Guys,

I have sold many a item on Amazon, and this is the most $$ one yet. I sold my laptop for $900 on there. The buyer seems legit as i even have their phone number and have texted them, plus they seem legit as i am able to look them up online...

anyways, is there a way to find out the BUYER rating ? I mean i can see my seller rating, thats about it !

Amazon doesn't allow you to refuse order based on buyer info. You can still refuse to ship, but then your seller rating will take a hit, and if you do that too often you can get kicked out.

The idea is that if the order has goner that far, amazon will pay you, regardless of what the buyer does. There is still some risk that you as a seller will get screwed, but that's just cost of selling on amazon.

Your biggest risk is the buyer saying the laptop was broken, as per amazon policy you have to issue a refund.

Then you may get into a situation where buyer doesn't ship it, or ships it back indeed broken. And then it becomes a case of he said, she said. Amazon will generally side with the buyer in those cases. But, like I said cost of running a business.

Keep in mind that although Amazon requires you to accept returns you can charge up to a 20% restocking fee, plus the customer is responsible for return shipping (if the item isn't defective).

The biggest risk there is they trash it before they return it. You have to hope that somehow it isn't damaged beyond 20% of the item's value.
