I'm going to call my Vet tomarrow and ask her about this, but until then, was wondering if anyone on these boards (since there's a wide variety of people who come here) would know anything about it.
Well today we brought the new dog home. My grandmother passed away this week and left us her dog. Now, our dog we had before (a lab) was very affectionate, I mean you couldn't sit down without her being on your lap. Now since we brought the new dog home (a pug) she has been extremely distant and even will even yelp at times when you pet her, also she's panting all the time and shaking. Is this normal for when you introduce a new dog into the family? Or should I try to find a 24 hour vet clinic?
