Wife and I just got a 2007 Trailblazer today and we're looking around through the book, researching stuff on the internet, and poking around in the car just figuring stuff out.

It looks like under the driver's side rear seat there is an extra battery, there is a plastic cover with 2 icons on it, an unlocked lock and a battery symbol. I couldn't find anything out about it in the manual or via a quick google search other than some people hooking up after market amps to that battery. Any ideas?

Im fairly certain thats a fuse block. IIRC my moms Trailblazer had a fuse block there

Yep, fuse box. The terminal with the big red wire is the power feed line. The top unclips and you'll have access to all the fuses inside. The body control module is also in there as well.

I have an 02 Trailblazer I bought in September. So far, I like the truck, and I've put 7000 miles on it since I got it :)

Dayam, thats a helluva deal compared to what I see around me. Looking for a similar setup to tow a camper next year as my V6 SUV will not cut it :(
