There's hardly the distinction when i was looking for jobs. Basically you can apply to either type of jobs with cs/is - most asked for CS. Unless you have like super internships you need to pretty much take anything that's offered that's related to CS. My friend actually had to do a free internship before he found his new job. basically, IS/CS was very open ended - you could do tech support, data analysis, programming, etc. Just cuz you're IS doens't mean you're limited to the 'business side' of things. They'd prob hire CS just as readily and vice versa.
