They only made 12 episodes, but they never seem to get old. What's your favorite episode? I like the one with Mrs. Richards, the old woman who's hard of hearing who thinks someone has stolen her money.

Such a funny episode! Best parts were the front sign that was always rearranged to form some odd phrase. Wish it had made more shows!

LOVE IT! I can't pick a favorite episode; they're all awesome.

Maybe it's a girl thing, but I always thought that Fawlty Towers far outweighed Monty Python in comedic value.

Classic. Wow, I haven't seen that since I was a kid. My dad hated British humor & said it sucked. I always liked it and watched after he fell asleep, same w/ Python.

Although truth be told, back in the day of "broadcast only" television. You didn't have a lot of choices on late night TV. After Carson, it was Benny Hill, Python, Fawlty Towers, then over to the UHF channel for a few Stooges episodes. Then National Anthem and static......

You kids with your cable/satellite/HDTV...WTH would you do back then?

I completely understand your point of view because I always thought that MP was more of a guy's type of humor also because not many of the women I have known really liked it. They would watch it for me but Fawlty Towers they would watch by themselves.

One of my favorite British Shows is Allo Allo.

black adder was brilliant, whereas Monty Python took British Classical Lit and made fun of it, black adder took british political history and made it into the comedy it was.

This man speaks the truth.

"You started it!"

"No I didn't."

"Yes you did, you invaded Poland!"

I've seen every episode at least 10 times. My favorite one might be The Germans, where Basil said "you started it you invaded Poland" :)
