- ill never waste money on a non full frame body
- ill never waste money on DG, EF-S lenses
- i ONLY shoot prime lenses
- i shoot 4GB of raw files and will upload the top 3 pictures, youll never see any of the others
- 3rd party lenses are garbage
- ill never buy a camera with an SD slot

My good buddy has an Olympus dslr. We both had Canon AE-1's back in the day. His oldest son has mine now.

Sadly, at this point, a dslr would be fundamentally wasted on me. I have come to terms with my woeful aesthetic limitations, and make do with a Dimage Z6 (12x optical, 6 megapixellated) that "those in the know" would trash in under 2 seconds, and a Canon SD 450 for take along. Also have an even tinier, higher megapixel Casio, but the Canon does a far better job.

Yes, in the world of serious photography, I suck. My buddy Durwood takes some truly awesome shots, though.

Edit: Btw, I paid a tad over $100 new for the KM at a target - demo but with box, upc and all the extras and manuals, no rebate, so I'm happy enough. Faces . . . I like to zoooooooooom in and capture their soul. And yeah, it has some half-ass anti-shake which suits my purposes well enough. Pin barrel distortion, what pin barrel distortion?

Well, I won't buy 3rd party glass. I have in the past and got burned with a crappy product. Damned Sigma...:|
I don't own any EF-S lenses and probably never will since they won't work on my film bodies.

That's pretty much it.

Those people who do that need to die. Do you have any idea how hard it is to find CZ class in the CY mount for half-decent prices anymore? Let those of us who use the bloody things have them.

Anyway, I say to shoot with whatever you like. Liking the camera counts for a lot more than anything else because if you like the camera, you'll take it along and actually get to shoot the pictures.
