Anybody's Optonline upload slow as dirt? Mine is...

I was sending some files over to my sister, which has optonline, and i was uploading at a whopping 15k a second. I thought it was AIM but not at all. I tested my bandwidth here and i get 3499k download and 135k upload. Anybody elses like this?

You got capped. Happened to me. You have to call and tell them that someone hacked your computer and was running a server from it, but you formatted and everything is fine now. Then try not to upload so much for awhile.

Optonline has nice upload, usually around 120

Yeah, i've uploaded before and got about 100-120k upload. I guess i'm gonna call them up

yeah, you probably uploaded too much and got capped.

2.8 / 650 for me. Thats actually slower than usual. My usual speed is over 4.0down and 800up. My service advertises 5.0down and 800up.

I just got through with them over the phone, they said it has to do with excessive uploading.....I don't share music or anything... what the hell is this crap! So now they forwarded my problem to a tech and they will contact me about this...they will hear an earfull, god help them! LOL

Not really, it's god help you. They have no set limits for capping, they just do it. Depending on how congested your node is. Some people can upload 24/7 and not get capped, but others can get capped for far less. I heard of people getting capped for a few hundred MB's.
