I'm trying to identify what kind of laminate flooring this is. I had thought it was Pergo Everyday since I had a empty box of it in my closet.

There was one piece left in the box which was a stair nosing. The item # was 35013. Googling that info I found this page

I had my contractor locate Pergo Everyday Cherry Blocked flooring and he said the locking mechanism didn't match. He said that flooring was 7MM while my floor is approximately 8MM.

Here is a photo of the flooring pattern

My contractor said the flooring fits perfectly with "Quickstep" but can't find the exact color.

Any help would definitely be appreciated!

I'm not an expert, but it does not look look like Pergo. I am a laminate fan and have installed a few different brands in my last two houses, including Pergo. I cant recall seeing a Pergo style that is individual plank as that seems to be.

It's not individual plank, it just looks like it. It looks each piece is simulating 3 oak planks. I've seen similar stuff before that was made by Formica.

It kind of looks like this, but the color may be off a bit. You can get samples from ifloor to check.

It's been a while since I did my floors, and I forgot how many different companies make laminate flooring 🙂.

Does it have the foam underlayment attached to the bottom?

Not sure what you mean. On the bottom of the plank its just this light grey material. We have a green underlayment on the bare floor itself.

Yeah that does look a little like it.

Looks like Cottage Golden Oak to me. I think lowes carries it.

Thats Pergo, right? From what my contractor said he doesn't think its Pergo because the locking mechanisms don't fit with other Pergo stuff. However looking at the picture of it on Lowe's site it does seem to match

Ok. I was able to get in touch with the original owners of the place and they said it was definitely Pergo and was purchased from Home Depot. Now, can anyone help me from there?

The stuff from HD & Lowes carries the Pergo name, but I don't think it's built in typical Pergo plants/production methods. I'm guessing they outsource to other brands that can do it cheaper and slap the Pergo name on it.

Can you post a pic of the interlocks? And why not just take the piece into lowes/HD and see what it matches up to?

What are the length and width of the existing planks. From your picture it looks like the planks are glued together, not just snapped together. Is that correct?

Edit: And knowing thickness of the planks will be helpfull too, if you can measure that.

The piece of floor that was removed by the contractor is under the stove. I don't want to pull out the stove with the piece missing because I don't want to damage anything else. I was in a car accident a month ago and I can't really move heavy things as well.

I don't know the length off hand but the contractor said the thickness was 8 MM. They are not glued in - they just snap in/out.

Edit: I am measuring a piece now and its 7.5" x 47" x 8mm (roughly)

Edit2: by taking those measurements I found this on Home Depot's website. The flooring measures a little longer at 7 5/8" though so maybe I'm a tad off.

That looks like you found it, although the color is off a bit, but who can tell from internet pictures. Good luck!

Edit: to me it looks more like Pergo Presto Salem Oak, at least color-wise to the picture you posted.

I'll ask the contractor to go to HD and see if either of the Presto's match up.
