Anybody work for/looked into working for the Army?

I go to the army website, click "jobs" and there are all these interesting looking jobs available. A bunch of them require 9 weeks of basic training (which I would never last through), but a whole lot of them, especially in the computer field I would be interested in, seem to basically have no requirements. It looks like they train you for a varying number of weeks, usually 3 months or less, and give you a job. Could it actually be that easy?

I've considered, but never really looked into it... I'm sure the military needs network admins.... that would be the most elite job ever.... :beer:

lol, yup.. its most definitly that easy.. i love the army and everything its done for me. you'd be suprised how many people make it through basic training. all you gotta do is pass a test, and a pyshical
