Hi, my HP Pavillion 8576C came with a pathetic 110W PS. I dont have the juice to upgrade anything. Anybody find a power supply solution? Thanks:disgust:

I'm not sure exactly what your mini tower looks like, but I have a mini tower from a HP Pavilion 6350. Right now I have an enlight 250w PSU in it, but I had to do some cutting to get it in there. It sticks out the back of the tower about 2" and I put brackets on it to keep it secure. I'm don't know if they make 250W PSUs for this kind of case, but it is a small case. I finally ended up getting a more spacious and standard case.
Here is a pic.
(I had to chop up that upper bracket pretty bad, I had an antec 300W PSU in it before. :) )

Really, if you want to upgrade the PS, you would probly be better off going with a new case. Get an Inwin Midtower, 250w PS [mine came w/300w for extra $10]. Will provide much better cooling than that wimpy HP case you got. BTW, I have the HP6630 and plan to migrate it to my old main tower. Much bigger, like at least 2x. gl

I know this is not what you want to hear but...........
Buy yourself a good name brand motherboard, case and powersupply. Your upgrading worries will be gone:) The lowwer end HP systems are not designed to be expandable, or even well built they are made for one thing.......being cheap thats it:)
