i thought a&m was overrated all season
they lost to bayor... come on!
Yes, super overrated :disgust:
They had one of if not the hardest schedules of all [3 teams playing in BCS bowls]
They aren't losing many guys this year. Next year will be good.
they had a very hard schedule. but not only did they lose to all these teams, but also BAYLOR. they didnt compete against utah, or texas. if they hadnt stayed in the game so late against OU they would have dropped off the map. not that im complaining, their overratedness led to texas rating to be inflated by whoopin em
🙂
What about beating Clemson?
What about the win against OSU?
What about the win against Colorado?
What about the win against an improved ISU team?
Those were quality wins.
aTm had some quality wins, and a few really bad games - 2 against BCS bowl teams and one against Baylor. The Baylor game was an anomaly.
Utah stomped A&M - first game of the season.
OU barely escaped with a victory - and they - not you - are playing for a National Championship.
Texas only beat us by 13. To say we did not compete against Texas is hardly fair.
You are also not factoring in a couple of other factors -
6 Red Shirted freshmen on D
A very young O line, with 2 fish starting.
The toughest schedule in the nation.
The wear and tear of playing said schedule.
A&M is ranked about where they should be. Tennessee should have won that game - they outranked A&M substaintially. Should it have been a runaway? No. A&M played poorly... but they are not overrated.
Cal was overrated. Highly.
