Anybody watched "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"?

You know, the fourth little guy that gets shrunk. He's using a Logitech 3D joystick, but I don't know what game that he's playing. Probably something that's made for the movie...

Supermario Brothers FTW!!! 😛

Bah. Its Zelda dummy.

er... Did you even see the movie? Most movies don't do video games right. There's no way you can play a FPS with flight simulator joystick. Most people use the keyboard/mouse deal. Imagine playing Unreal Tournament, Doom 3, Quake 4, etc. with a joystick - the response is not the best and you'd be blown up quickly.

the movie was creppy, espcially those midgets that looked alike

It's all the same guy. They did take after take after take with the cam in the same place and him playing each individual part at different places on the set. Then they cropped the scenes all together. It's just one guy. The special features on the DVD explain it and show them doing it. It's pretty cool.

Actually you can if you set the sensitivity right.

Use the twist motion of a MS joystick (dunno about others) to look left and right, and the tophat to aim. Throttle control for moving forward and back.

Still kind of a pain, but I've played that way and it ain't bad.

I think the logitech joystick thing was to give the impression of the classic video game addict kid. Ataris had joysticks and the average person would associate a joystick with games more than a game pad.

It looked sorta like Doom, but it didn't look exactly like anything in particular. Maybe Duke Nukem?
