Ok, the O.C. might not fit in with the Anandtech crowd, but Rachel Bilson is pretty hot. It's 2:20AM in the morning but it isn't Rachel Bilson that's keeping me awake, though- it's Imogen Heap!
You may have heard of Imogen Heap and not know it. She, along with Guy Sigworth, formed a band called Frou Frou and they perform the main track on Garden State- "Let Go". Well, during the funeral scene on the O.C. finale, they play a track called "Hide and Seek" by Imogen Heap.
Anyway, if you haven't heard it, you can view the video for free at her website. If you like the track, it can be had for about a buck in secure WMA or DRM-free AAC, I believe (I don't have iTunes). I don't know how to describe the sound exactly. It's almost acappella becuase there's no hint of background music. It's just Immi's incredible vocals with a sythesized layer for a hint of plural tonality and it just totally blows me away. It's haunting really. I've been listening to it for the last two hours on repeat now- it's that good.
Just had to share this with any fans of the O.C. and is looking for the tune. Here's Imogen Heap's website: Imogen Heap
