Anybody watch the Fox show "Cracking up"?

I actually like it. It's a show about a guy working on his psychology major who moves in with a family to help with their son, or so he thought. In reality, the whole family is nuts, and and kid he's supposed to help is the only normal one.

After watching the first two episodes, I kinda dig the show. The script is pretty weak, but it does have some touchy topics. The characters seem to be developed decently, except for the maid (fake hispanic stereotype - she didn't even appear in the second episode). Anyone else see it?

I watched it for the first time tonight, and thought that it was great. It seems that there are few shows on tv that make me laugh, but this one had me rolling throughout.

it's funny from what i heard. i was busy doing other things but had the tv on. i'd watch it again if i catch it. if i dont .. oh well.

I agree... but it's actually really good so far. Of course, if it turns out to be something worth watching, Fox will cancel it just like Firefly and Family Guy.

Well yeah, Fox can't get a reputation as a network with actual quality programming, they need to keep their reputation of nothing but crap like Temptation Island and "When Buildings Attack".

No, it's a tv show with actors, not reality TV.

I guess I'm so used to the idea of reality shows on fox, that I wasn't expecting this

I've been watching it@! It's pretty funny...but I dont know if it's cuz i'm biased. The star of the show is the ex-drummer for Phantom Planet (my favorite band!!!!!!). he left the band to pursue acting more tho. 🙁

I agree. I was weary about this show since she's kind of annoying but she plays the character well I think.

i saw it last night, thought it was the pilot, guess i missed the first one.

anyways i thought it was very funny, will defnitely watch the show. the psychology guy's girlfriend was pretty cute and so was the daughter. i found it ironic how the daughter was saying how girls who have sex before they're married are skanks yet her skirt was so short. oh well, she's hot...haha.

The drummer is Jason Schwarz, but I like him for Rushmore the movie, not the OC theme song.

Either way, he is funny. I liked him in cheaters too. had its' moments.

Plus, come on people, Shooter McGavin, can't go wrong there.

While watching the second episode last night, I couldn't quite get the Shooter McGavin thoughts out of my head. It's been a fairly good show so far even if it has been only 2 episodes.
