Anybody watch the American Horror Story premier?

That's why it's on FX. Have you seen the other shows they have aired? Sons of Anarchy, The Shield. Those both "play like R-movies" and were exceptionally popular and well done, and have been recognized with awards.

Still loving this show... Even got my wife hooked, and she hates horror-type shows/movies. Jessica Lange really knows how to bring out the creepy in her character.

DoH !! Sorry, mixed it up with Walking Dead, the only other series show I watch.

I am liking the show a lot, but its hard to suspend belief when both Victoria and the Dad know they have dead people around them at any time. Last nights show was great other than me having a hard time grasping that angle.

Next weeks show looks gruesome as well, and I'm curious if ALL of the bodies are in the crawl space pit, including the fetus corpses. Lesson to learn: Get a thorough whole house inspection done when you buy a murder house.

I had downloaded and watched the preview on iTunes when it first came out, and was really annoyed when during a simple conversation the camera was just moving around for no apparent reason. To appear "edgy" no doubt.

Newsflash: FX is not an over-the-air channel, you have to pay the cable or satellite provider for access to the channel. Therefore, they have a lot more discretion over what content gets played on the channel vs a standard free over-the-air channel/network.

If you want your kids to watch only G-rated Disney-approved content, either monitor their tv habits, or enable the various parental controls in the tv or cable box.

The burnt guy handled it, not sure if the dad watched the whole thing or not. I thought the dad was thinking it was an elaborate trick of some sort. Denial I suppose.
