Heres my problem, I've got two cameras (1 Digital Rebel which I love and this old powershot S10). I was trying to see whats the best picture I could get out of this little guy and I look at it and looks terrible! (The camera is Circa August 1999) I just took this picture earlier today with the highest settings and the flower looks too violet looking..

Double check the cameras various colours settings. On a lot of cameras you can alter the colour saturation, hue etc, they should all be at 0 or neutral. Also some cameras have a vibrant colour mode, make sure you don't have that on. Canon cameras have a habit of taking nicely saturated colours, but some find them too saturated. My Canon G2 loves bright colours for example, see my gallery above, but I love the photos I get from it. Those do look on the extreme side even for a canon though.

Look, it's my eye yet again. (Canon powershot A40)

That's such a cool pic....

If I tried something like that I would surely blind myself. :p

It's not al close to my eye as it looks... still about an inch to spare.

Or are you talking about the flash? At this range it was actually off to the side enough that it wasn't bad.

I meant I would probably end up shoving the lens into my eye or something...lol
