Anybody using Virtual PC 2007 with 64 bit Win OS?

I've had good luck with older games on VPC 2007 with Vista 64 as my host OS. I managed to get a win98 VM going and was able to play Mechwarrior 2 Mercs with sound and everything. 🙂

VPC 2007 is pretty decent. Anecdotal data suggests pretty good results doing what you want. And VPC is free so why not?

I prefer VMWare Workstation but it is hardly free.

I also prefer VMWare workstation for getting actual work done, as it has much better snapshot capability than the other Virtualization packages. I use it a lot when doing test cases at work as I can restore to any given snapshot in a timeline.

For playing old games, though, VPC seems to work a lot better for me as it has better support for sound and control seemed a little smoother.
