If you have a large management company as your landlord you might be able to get away with it. If you deal with the manager/property owner directly (i.e. private party) then good luck, because chances are they're not willing to take the massive 2-5% hit for accepting cards.

I've done it and it only costs me $4.95/mo for up to 6 transactions.

I can even pay my next door neighbor using my cc, anyone care to guess HOW?

I didn't use those "convenience checks" these all appear as regular PURCHASES (not cash advances).

Is it some manner of BillPay?

Yep.

I have the CitiBank Platinum Select VISA credit card.

If you are a CitiBank cc card holder, go to CitiBankCards.com logon and select BILL MANAGER.

You pay $4.95/mo for up to 6 transactions and you can pay ANYONE.

I stay in a hotel so pay the rent by Credit Card. I have been doing it for the last one year now. But don't have any travel card etc. Which ones are good ? Tell me quick !! Time to apply some !!
