Anybody using a projector instead of a monitor?

I did a presentation in a computer class with a newer SVGA projector a while back, and it was pretty awesome . . . the picture was pretty bright even in light, and it was HUGE. Ever since, I've been keeping an eye out for one, but they're damn expensive.

A projector and a dry-erase white board would have to be the ultimate though, except maybe next to a gas-plasma screen.
