Isn't it like myspace? Looks like its part of google(?) since it looks like I can sign up using my google account. Would it be the same profile as google talk? I was needing to sign up for a chat account through google talk or yahoo (recommendations?) to chat with a long distance friend.

A friend wanted my to sign up for Bebo chat, which I think is like orkut, but I never did. Anyone use it?

Wasn't Orkut around before MySpace? I heard about it first anyway.

I have an account which I rarely use because it's crap. Google hasn't made any major changes to Orkut in years.
