Anybody used one of these Amuzuma hsf fan adapters?

just by looking at the design, i'd say that putting one of these wouldn't give u as much extra cooling from a larger fan as u'd expect. it doens't funnel the air, so much of it may be lost around the edges... never tried it, but that's just the impression i get.

true, but is the funnel better? Anyone use one of these funnels, and know where I can pick one up for relatively cheap...I've only seen them for like 14 or 15 bucks online, which is the same price as this one.

i would think the funnels would work better, but i have the same complaint that u have, in that they're way too expensive to justify buying. i decided on picking up the svc gc68 instead, as it provides decent cooling and used an 80 mm fan, making it a much quiet solution.

I guess my problem is that I should have waited and not picked up the 6cu+ at fry's when I bought my combo. It was the 6cu, the 6cu+, some coolermaster or some antec that looked like one of the Orb types that Thermaltake makes. I was itching to use it and I just picked up this one b/c I thought I had heard it was decent...and it's a fine at cooling, but way too loud

I just bought a 92mm to 60 mm adapter from plycon. I was unhappy at first it cooled poorly next to my delta ideal temp are higher but the temps under load are the same 37c 44c overclocking might have something to do with that. I find that the fact i can hear myself think and my mp3s well worth the cost.

I should have ordered those BGMicro fans when they were 1.99 if you bought 10...

Thanks for the 60 to 80 adapter link...cheapest I've seen yet

Anyone try out the Amuzuma with a 80mm panaflo, and keep around the same temps. I just broke the fan on my heatsink, and need something quick. I can't stand this AMD K6-3 450 i'm stuck on right now.
