Should work fine.

Intel only guarantees it if you use an Abit board (ie- same manufacturer as the slocket).

hmmm aight I am using it with a gateway mobo and I think it is the slotket that is preventing my system to boot.

I'm using the Abit slotket!!! on an Asus mb and everything's working fine.

Double check your jumper settings.

Maybe check for a bios upgrade for the gateway mb?

I used an Slotket III on an Abit and Soyo and never had any problems.

I've used an Abit Slotket III on my ASUS P3B-F and now on my AbiT BF-6. Works fine, no complaints. Got my P3 700E @ 933Mhz.

Ive got a PIII 650 on a Slockett in a BE6-II, no problems
