Anybody use screen protectors for their car GPS unit?

Nope... although if you ever have women in your car with those huge freakishly long freddy krueger nails, you might want to tell them not to touch your GPS.

Yea, I might just use some Palm screen covers from when I had my TX. It would be nice though if they were anti-glare.

I don't use screen protectors on anything, figure by the time it is that abused then it is time to get a new one.

i have belkin pda screen protectors that i cut and form on to a lot of screens i have.

when i first got mine i tried to put one on but it messed with the touch screen so i took it off... now when i think about it there was never a need for it, the screen on mine is very durable, not a single scratch/scruff so far

Although I don't have a gps unit in my car I do have a touch screen Alpine headunit. The forward and back search buttons are on the screen and even after 6 months of use I still don't see any scratches or rubbed marks.

I think the lcd screens on digital cameras, pdas, or phones with large screens would benefit from screen protectors though.

I used that sort of stuff in the past on my first PDA and realized that I don't like it.
