anybody use powerquest drive image 7

just wondering if anybody used this hd back up software and if it was as easy as it appears

We used Drive Image Pro version something or other at work to do all our Images for PCs. It works great. Boot up off a floppy, run the program, Image your whole PC onto some other drive. I like it a lot. Haven't used it at home at all but I don't see why it woul be any different.

I tried Drive Image 4 and really screwed up 2 drives and had to reformat everthing.

Probably more user error than anything.

To answer the question posed: yes I use Drive Image 7.

It is even easier than Drive Image 2002. No floppies needed.

how is this compared to norton ghost?

I use Acronis True Image 6.0 cause you can make images in Windows and don't have to reboot into DOS
which can take forever when the partitions are big.

This also means I make more backup images while I'm surfing around.
