Anybody use PowerDVD to...

...play mp3's?

I opened up some music files the other day, and they sound incredible (using CLMEI in music mode). Aside from utilizing my center channel, the bass just sounds 10x crisper. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

oh, I have a Soundblaster Live! 5.1, 5.1 speaker setup, and using PowerDVD Deluxe

i have it but dont use it. i do notice thats its like 3x as loud as anything else tho

I have PowerDVD, but I've never used it to play music. Funny that it should be so loud -- DVD playback is extremely quiet for me with that program.

My volume doubles when I run powerDVD. Scares the crap out of my roommate whenever I have music on.

DVDs play quiet for me, too

It's quiet for me, too, but I run my soundcard through my prologic receiver so I'll have to try it.
