Anybody here use an MP3 player with a tape adapter for their car audio? Anybody know of anybody who's done it?

What kind of player did they get? I had a Creative Muvo (old 128mb version) and the audio output on it was kinda lame, I'd like something that put out decent sound. I'm guessing I might have to go for an iPod or something...

Rather than that get the adapter thing you plug in the mp3 player's headphone jack that broadcasts to an unused fm station that you tune with your radio. . .

I have an IPOD and use the Belkin tape adapter to play in the car.
The sound is just fine and it charges my IPOD at the same time.

If I didn't have a cassette tape player in my car I would use the FM transmitter thing....though I have heard that some brands have crappy sound, but what do I know. I'm just a lowly tape adapter user.

the muvo probably has better sound quality than a ipod. i know the new/latest ones do, not sure about the first muvo's. maybe it's your tape adapter.

and also, tape adapter >>> fm transmitter for sound quality.
too bad my accord doesn't have a tape player, i'm gonna have to get some stupid aux/lineout converter that cost ~$100. =/
