I use AIMutation and have used it for around a year. Before that, I used AIM+ for about another year, I suppose. Before I started with AIM+, I used the standard AIM, but I like the features that AIM add-ons give, so I doubt if I'll ever use the standard client again.

Yes, AIM is the first instant message program I used and I like the simple UI. And I only use AIM 4.3, the higher versions are bloated with crap.

why would i use anything else when AIM works perfectly fine, has no annoying features (once you set it up right), and doesn't require me to relearn the interface?

Tried GAIM, tried Trillian, didn't like them so I still use AIM. Give me the same interface as AIM, all the same functions, with support for non-US languages and then I'll switch.

I use an old version of the AIM client + deadaim (when it was still free).

It does everything I need, nothing I don't. Why would I switch?

Using only regular AIM 4.something and DeadAIM. Anything higher is crap, GAIM sucks, Trillian sucks with fonts and profiles, so I stuck with AIM (I actually do like profiles and stuff).
