Anybody use AIM

Gaim is basically AIM except a cleaner interface and a more simple menu design, with tabbed chat/IM windows.

Tried Trillian. Tried GAIM. Both were totally dysfunctional. Trillian was just plain broken. GAIM had promise, but REFUSED to comply with font sizes. It displayed everything TEENYTINY.

I use Trillian... I think the AIM client is horrendous. I've tried GAIM... didn't like it either. Last time I tried using DeadAIM, I think I ran it two or three days before I removed it... didn't like it either.

I just use an old version of AIM. Install_AIM.exe circa 2002.
