I'm considering this monitor, but I'm having trouble finding any reviews other than very brief user reviews. I've heard it has some geometry issues though...what do you guys think?

I have a p95f+ and it is good. It is VERY slightly curved on the sides (looks like an hourglass) and also very slightly not square. Tiny text is also somewhat blurry. Again, these things are very minor. These are also not noticeable other unless you are running a video diagnostic. The color, refresh rates, crispness, etc are all outstanding. If the 90 is anything lie the 95, I highly reccomend it.

One last thing, like any monitor it takes around 10-15 minutes to warm up. I think this plus the minor (almost unnoticable even in diagnostics) geometry errors give the monitor a bad name.

Well, the P90f is a different monitor. The P95f is an aperture grille pitch, the P90f is a stripe pitch. I've heard very good things about the P95f, but I have an adventurous spirit plus those little wires in aperture grille monitors sort of annoy me, so I'll check the P90f out and if I don't like it, I'll just exchange it.

When I went shopping for a 17? monitor earlier this year I looked at quite a few monitors Samsung, Sony, Viewsonic, LG, ? and a few ?no name? brands. If you looked the pictures closely they all had at least some sort of slight geometry distortions --- even the most expensive one I looked at, a $400 (Canadian) Sony aperture grille CRT.

I ended up with a Viewsonic E70f and am very pleased with it. Picture quality is simply excellent. Although I should say I did return the first one because of what I deemed excessive geometry problems --- the geometry distortions vary from monitor to monitor with some being better or worse than others. I made a point of shopping at a place that had a very generous exchange and return policy.
