I picked one up for dirt cheap ($50) for the entire machine with all of the attachments from a coworker over the weekend.
Set it up yesterday and started working out on it. First some background. I used to work out a lot at work as we used to have a very nice gym here, which has since been converted in to office space. So, for about the last 4 years, I haven't done any serious weight training.
Getting used to the rubber bands but there's very litte to no negative resistance. It doesn't feel like real weights. Does anybody have any tip on how to make it fell more real or to get a better feel for it? That being said, I did get a pretty good workout for not having done it for 4 years. I'm a little sore today in all of the right places.
Yes, I know it's not as good as free weights but it was dirt cheap and it makes me actually want to work out as I don't have time to run down to the gym. Just looking for tips on how to maximize the machine for what it is.
