I have been hearing some commercials for it down here in Texas and read a few things on the net and it seems as if it is an excellent vodka.
Tito's Handmade Vodka won the 2001 Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirit Competition, signifying that all of the judges had picked Tito's as the best. It was unanimous. Tito's beat Smirnoff, Stoli, Ketel One, Skyy, Belvedere, Chopin, and every other vodka entered.

Anyhow, was wondering if anybody on ATOT gave it a shot - no pun intended.

Is it a hard vodka to find in stores? I live in DFW and I imagine somewhere somebody sells it, but *wow* that can be a lot of liquor stores to check out if it is not sold widespread.

Costco has a liquor store? I go to Costco often but I only have seen beer and wine in my area. Perhaps it is dependent on the city and/or county.

Beats Chopin? :Q

Heaven would have to quake and the angels sing when I drink it for that to be the case.

I got back a little while ago from buying a 750mL bottle. It is in the freezer now chilling. Will let you know what I think of it in a few hours.

Nope, but i've been drinking Level (from the same makers of Absolut believe it or not) over Grey Goose lately.

I bought a bottle of Level a couple of weeks ago - super smooth and almost burn free. Delicious!

So I gave the stuff a try and that is some awesome vodka. It is easily the most smooth vodka I have ever had. I think it is clearly better than something like Grey Goose because it is much cheaper yet just as good, or in my opinion better.

Problem with it is perhaps it is too smooth and easy to consume a lot of it.

Oh, found 2 stores that carry Tito's in Columbia, Missouri. I'll pick some up after work.

I called my local Hy-Vee grocery store and they have it for $17 for a 750 ml bottle.

Is it really better than Goose? I love my vodka and cranberry, might have to try this stuff out.

I really do think that it is better than Grey Goose. Especially when it is ~$17 for a 750mL bottle. Give it a try, you may be surprised with this Texas vodka.
Worse case scenario is that you may not find it better than Grey Goose but it sure as hell is better than Absolut, Sky, Stoli, and anything that comes in a plastic container.
