Anybody tried Whistler yet?

I've installed Beta1 but couldn't boot it in normal mode, got a kmode error. It booted in safe though. Interesting fact - if I disable ACPI in BIOS, the installation hangs at "starting Whistler professional". Guess it's too raw yet.
 
Guess your hardware is not compatible with Whistler. There are several members, including myself, who have had no problems with Whistler Beta 1. Matter of fact, I'm typing this using Whistler.
 
The only prob i had was with my NIC and that I cleared up and installing and reinstalling..

Not a glitch yet with Beta 1. Counterstrike, Quake 3, they all play great. I still prefer Win 2000 as of right now, seems a bit faster, espeically in 2D, but you can't expect much from a beta OS. Whistler should prove well.
