<< How do you check to see if the drivers are correctly installed? Is there somewhere I can look to see the driver version currently installed? >>
Yes, here is one way:
a) open your display properties
b) Click the settings tab
c) click advanced
d) click the GeForce/TNT tab
e) look under "driver version information"
Just bench tested 6.34 and there is no performance increase over 6.31 & 6.32. I have to say 6.26 were faster on my system. Stability with all the drivers seems to be good and all very much the same.
To be honest I wasn't expecting a boost like when Detonator 5.xx came out 🙂
rockhard, are you f*cking serious? No f* way. Woohoo, that was the only problem I had with my system, with it gone, I don't even know what I'll be doing.
I ran AGP4x and fast writes with the 6.32's and Quake2 felt noticeably more zippy 🙂
Trouble tho' was all the tearing 🙁
Heh, i hope they get this sorted soon as i liked my rig with 4x and fast writes turned on =)
Fast Writes are fine for me until I open up a RealPlayer movie then my whole systems locks up. I'll try the drivers later next week sometime I guess. I don't feel like rebooting just yet 😉
