it's a small rectangular device that you stick underneath the battery. It has circuitry on it and is supposed to give your phone more a better signal because of it's high surface area.

Right....manufacturers spend millions of dollars developing and testing their cell-phones but somehow they all missed this POS sticker that improves reception miraculously...
