Are your eyes all crusty when you wake up? That would be pink eye. I had it at age 8 or 9. My mom gave me a bowl with tea and a wet rag to wipe my eyes, but I had special eye drops. That's what you need!

Go to Tractor Supply or some other farm store. They have pink eye treatment there.

(erythromycin eye ointment). Costs about $5.

Note: I am not a doctor of ophthalmology, though I have treated animals successfully in the past, and I did just make reservations at the Holiday Inn.

Putting diluted poop in it will cure it. Cure it or cause it, one of the two for sure.

OP has not posted again. So whose advice did he follow which caused him to go blind and not be able to post anymore?

Not necessarily. Most pink eye diagnoses are bullshit, IME. It's usually an allergic reaction or something similar.

For many years I would get HORRIFIC allergies this time of year, and my eyes would be the most affected. Would wake up with my eyes crusted shut and stuff like that. I wanted to kill myself.

Thought I had pink eye once. Turned out to be uveitis, which is much more serious. I'd go to a doctor and have it checked.

Wash your face with soap and water
Wash your hands with soap and water
repeat 100X
stop touching your eyes

works almost as fast as spending money of prescriptions...
