I need a cultural class of sorts and a class called "Intro to Asian studies" fits perfectly into my schedule and seems to be pretty easy from the reviews I've seen. My past education has only focused on European history, so I figure it might be kind of interesting.

What do you guys think?

I'd take it. I really like history, but I've never really known much about Asian history even though I lived there for 3.5 years.

I can't wait till I'm almost done with my CPSC degree, I can take some classes I'll enjoy a lot like history. CPSC is enjoyable, but not all the BS core classes.

By Asian do they mean Indian/Eastern Asian? or everything from the continent Asia? I'd like to learn about the Middle East and how it became a hell hole. :)

Seems to be East Asian, as the following courses are more specific: Chinese, Korean, Japanese, etc.
