My reply was to jubilex's typical post but some people thought it was a good launching spot. Well fuck that shit.
Everybody wants to play the blame game. I'll put it right where I think it belongs clear to the top. Fucking denier Trump. Then it trickled down to his boot licking MAGa governors in the backwater states, who kept up the gas lighting. The whole lot of them should be spending an eternity in the flames of hell, if I believed in that fairy tale.

Red states also have a lot of people working which can cause COVID to spread... Many of these areas do not have the internet infrastructure to work from home as they are more rural. Blue states (in other words blue cities) have decent internet connections and can work from home. So what's your point?
What's your point, touche.

You know what's funny is that I do sip tea and have some zoom meetings at work where we talk about pronouns. Lol. Doesn't mean that's all we do. I mean the place I work is the largest employer and biggest economic engine in the state but meh...to team red that doesn't matter because we care a bit about racism and discrimination.

Damn those red states with majority working class - which are also coincidentally black/brown that you are celebrating the pandemic hitting them as they make your food that ends up in the store you buy from in your yuppie blue states.

Enjoy your continued self-ignorance., tools.

In our paper on the 18th the governor of WV was bragging how unemployment was near pre-covid levels. On the 19th there was a article about covid hospitalizations being at an all time high. One organization had them reaching capacity on the Dec. 4th. This is what they voted for. This is what their behavior and attitude reap. The sad part is now these businesses are having to shut down left and right (to clean up/quarantine) as their employees get covid.

,back to the blame game, the covidiots want to blame our governor for businesses going broke, but as shown above in WV the businesses go to shit if the virus gets out of hand too.

People shouldn't be using the red/blue labels. But what they are really getting out is states that took precautions and those that didn't. Most "red" states have largely done nothing and lied to their citizens about the dangers of COVID and how to protect themselves. Those citizens just voted for more of the same bullshit. Now they are paying the price for their own decisions.

BTW: "Blue" states produce 45% of food in the US, including the vast majority of fruits, vegetables, and nuts.

Funny, the "yuppie blue state" of California has twice the agricultural output of the next most productive state.

So when I sit down to eat, I'm probably eating food grown in my own state.

As for the rest, boohoo about people getting sick who willfully refused to take precautions. Regardless of what state they live in or political party to which they affiliate. But we both know it's mainly republicans.

I'm going to feel the same way about the imbeciles who refuse to be vaccinated as well. And for good reason.

I think stupidity could use a dent in its market share. So I'm not complaining 😂
