Anybody suggest a good (cheaper) alternative to gotomypc

I want to be able to control my laptop that is at home from my office pc. Because of the firewall, i need something that is web based.

I did try a trial of gotomypc last year, and was looking at that, but at $20 a month i think it's kinda over priced for what i want to do.

Does anybody have any suggestions for a cheaper alternative that is similar to gotomypc, and is web based so i can use it at work ?
 
you can use Nortons PC anywhere or a prog like winVNC has an http server built in
