I'm thinking about upgrading from a PIII system to a T'Bird setup. However, my power supply is not listed on AMD's website as approved. It's a stock 300 Watt poer supply.

A-Opens website has contradictory info on the combined wattage of the +3.3 and +5v rails (it's listed as 125W in one place and 150W in another). What do you guys think?

Not sure if this is totally relevant, but I have a Duron setup in an HX08 w/shipped 300w PS. No problems yet. OC to 972(YAY!) with lots of extra goodies, two 30g ata100 7200rpm maxtor drives, 4x4x32 cdr/w acer, 50x acer, 2x80mm fans, 120mm, 2x60mm, and a 92mm. Very stable w/no power issues. Runs 24/7.

The Aopen FSP300-60BT PSU is approved for up to 1000 MHz Athlon processors, that should be the one in the HX-08 case.

I must have an older case, my A-Open HX-08 came with an FSP300-GT, which is not listed as approved on AMD's web site.
