yep, queen sized one, purchased a good pad for it and put a sh!tty pad under the good one so its double, i sleep like a rock

i slept on one for about a year...it has an inner spring mattress though...so it's pretty comfortable...not quite as comfortable as a good matress...but certianly tolerable

I slept on a futon for 6 months when I first moved down here, it was cheap and I slept horribly. Suffered constant backaches because of it.

Japanese futon...Heck..thats what they sleep on so yeah its good.

the futon you linked sucks, look at the padding, it'll wear down quick, and you'll feel the wooden poles withing months.

Had one almost 2 years here, very similar frame to your pic. Thicker and probably firmer mattress though.
Mattress on the floor is good on the back. On the frame it is not so good.
For fornication, the reverse is true - I consider the movement and noise of the frame sliding into the wall to be a plus.

My last experiance witha futon left me begging for the floor.... Which I probly would have rolled down onto, if i weren't taco'ed inbetween the futon matress and its frame all night.

i can sleep on regular beds, but they need to be harder. i don't like soft beds or soft pillows = sore back and neck.
