Yeah I saw it in the theatres but I just can't imagine Owen Wilson (of all people) in a role like this.

What's up with Gene Hackman doing like 4 movies this year? Maybe more.

yea i can't imagine it either, but i dunno... he does have that tall lanky thing that makes him somewhat believable as a pilot. actually it's interesting, because i was watching ebert and roeper a few months back and they were talking about how he was one of the up and coming action stars... him and vin diesel.

I don't think his physique (sp) has anything to do with it. It's the past comedy roles he's had and that voice of his.

He does look hilarious in The Royal Tenenbaums, that movie is gonna own!
